The room your child would join
You walk into the actual classroom your child would join. You see the materials on the shelves at child height and the outdoor space through the windows. It is an ordinary part of the day, not a show.
The teachers
You meet the teacher who runs the room. Ask how the day is paced, from drop-off to rest to pick-up. Ask how they handle the first weeks when a child is still settling in.
Your questions
Hours, meals, pickups, tuition: ask about all of it. Write your questions down before you come so you do not forget them. If we do not know an answer on the spot, we follow up.
Before you come
Bring your child if you can. A tour works best when they can see the room, touch the toys and meet the teacher who would be with them each day. We care for children from 6 weeks to 12 years, and our hours are 6:30 a. m. to 7:00 p. m., Monday through Friday.
Ask how pickups are handled and how parents hear about the day. Ask about meals, rest time and what happens when a child is unwell. Ask how the first weeks are paced, since settling in looks different for every child. Write the questions down and bring them.
