Call (800) 880-8849 or email vicky.adu@kidscomefirstelc.com. Tell us your child's age and the days you need. Our enrollment team will walk you through the next step. Ask about hours, tuition and openings when you call.

Tour the room
Visit the classroom your child would join and meet the teachers who run it. Watch the room in motion. See where your child would eat, nap and play. Bring your questions about the day and ask them while you are there.

Enroll and settle in
Complete enrollment and plan a first week that suits your child's routine. Shorter days at the start help. Bring a comfort object from home. Pack a change of clothes labelled with your child's name.
What to have ready
Most families gather a few things before the first day: enrollment forms, a health form and immunization record, emergency contacts and the names of adults allowed to pick up your child. The office will tell you exactly which forms they need. Ask if you are unsure what to bring.
Pack a full change of clothes, including socks. Add outdoor gear for the season and nap items if your child rests on their own bedding. A comfort object from home helps at drop-off. Label everything with your child's name.
Before the first day, agree on a drop-off routine and keep goodbyes short. Tell us who may pick up your child and add them to the authorized list. Let your child's teacher know how you like to hear about the day. Ask the office which hours fit your schedule.
The first weeks
The first days often run shorter so your child can ease in. A familiar object from home, a photo or a small blanket, bridges the gap. A teacher greets your child by name at the door. You can call midday to check in.
At pickup, teachers tell you how your child ate, slept and played. They share what went well and what was hard. Most children settle within a few weeks, some sooner, some later. Ask for a quick update any time you want one.

Yes. A tour is how most families decide, and children are welcome to come along.
What should my child bring on the first day?

What does a typical day include?

How will I know how my child is doing?
Teachers share how the day went at pickup. You can also call or ask in person whenever you want an update. Our open door policy means you can visit any time.
Do you offer part-time or flexible schedules?
Schedules depend on your child's age group and what openings we have at the time. Call or stop by and ask what is available for your child.
What if there is no place right now?
If a place is not open for your child right now, you can ask us to let you know when one opens for their age. We will keep your name and reach out when something comes up.
What should I ask on the tour?
Ask about hours, meals, and how pickups work. Ask how the first weeks are handled, and what your child will do during the day. It also helps to ask how teachers and parents stay in touch about your child.
